🦈🌊 Whale shark is the largest fish in the world🦈🌊
It can reach a length of 12 meters or more, but is absolutely safe for humans - it feeds on plankton, small fish and shrimps, filtering water like a giant vacuum cleaner.
🦈🌊 The Red Sea is one of their seasonal migration sites.
Whale sharks regularly appear on the Sharm el-Sheikh coast, especially in spring and summer when there is a lot of plankton.
🦈🌊 Every whale shark is as unique as a fingerprint.
The pattern of spots and stripes on the body of each individual is unique. Scientists use photos of these patterns to track individual sharks and study their migrations.
