PADI Rescue Diver Course – 3 days $375

As part of the Rescue Diver course, you will learn how to:

  • Anticipate and prevent diving accidents
  • To act quickly in extreme situations
  • Adequately react to the diver's behavior, deal with various diving issues
  • Provide assistance to the diver on the surface and under water.

The Rescue Diver course makes you think seriously about how to make diving safe not only for yourself, but also for others.

The course program includes the following sections

  • Self-Rescue Skills
  • Stress in divers. Preventing and relieving stress.
  • First aid techniques in diving settings
  • Actions in extreme situations.
  • Providing assistance in the water and on land.
  • Panicked diver assistance.
  • A plan of action in case of diver loss.
  • Raising an unconscious diver to the surface.
  • Artificial respiration on the surface.
  • Medical care in decompression related incidents.
  • Diving accident scenarios.

The course takes 3 days


Prerequisites Minimum age is 15 years. Minimum certification level PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent.

In addition, you must have an Emergency First Responce (EFR) certificate or similar certificate of completion of CPR courses no more than 24 months ago.
If you are a specialized doctor or professional lifeguard and have a certificate, this requirement can be omitted by the decision of the management of the dive center and the instructor. 

After obtaining the PADI Rescue Diver certification, there is one step left to the first professional level in diving – Dive Master.

The price for the PADI Rescue Diver Diving Course includes:

  • Transfer from the hotel to Dolphin or the port and back.
  • PADI certification.
  • General organization of all dives.
  • Use of all necessary learning materials.
  • 14% VAT and 10% entertainment tax.

Possible additional costs:

  • Diving insurance is mandatory for students under 18 and over 55 years old. For others, it is highly recommended. It costs $8 per day if issued in Delfin. More about insurance → But it can also be obtained at home as an extension of travel insurance.
  • Government park  fees for boat diving only  $8.
  • Drinks and lunch onboard  $8.
  • Diving equipment full set rent for 3 days is $75 if needed.
  •  EFR First Aid Course 140$ if needed.
